Erwin Penland was looking for an advertising supported guerilla strategy for new Firehouse Subs franchisees. Our concept takes advantage of the resturant’s existing non profit
orginization, The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. We combined traditional declaratory stickers with the “Support the Troops” phenomenon. These pieces, with sticker, are to be distributed in windshields, by hand, and as free standing inserts. If the customer wears their sticker badge into a
Firehouse Subs location, they receive a magnetic version for their car bumper.
“We all hunger to help. Wear your Public Safety Foundation badge into Firehouse Subs and receive a bumper badge for your car. A portion of your lunch purchase helps fund much needed supplies for firehouses in the southeast. It’s not just filling, It’s fullfilling.”
